Scott has agreed terms with the Coventry Bees for a month to cover for Olly Allen who has a broken leg.
Bees owner Avtar Sandhu said: ‘It’s well known that I spoke to Scott in the winter about him coming back, and he said then that he wanted to try something different to help his results in the Grand Prix.’
‘We fully respected that but we’ve kept in touch since then and I’m delighted that now he is returning to us. There are no problems with anyone here, and we’ve all said that life is too short to worry about going too much over old ground.’
‘We’ve had approaches from other clubs about him and I know he has been spoken to, but he’s always said that Coventry would be the club he would come back to.’
‘We’ve had so many injury problems but have kept on fighting, and it’s brilliant that Scott is coming back to help us out.’
